Searching for a partner can be horrifically painful. But board games are always awesome. So what if you combined board games and finding a partner?
What the night will look like...
Sarah and Tandis from Connecting Us will give a brief presentation on tips for connecting, then we'll hop into games. Over the course of the night, you'll play classics you love and discover brand new ones you've never heard of, playing each with a different group of fun singles. At the end of the night, you give your gaming concierge a list of the folks you met that you'd like to date and a list of those you met that you'd like to just hang out with as friends. If any two people put down the same name as each other in either column, then your gaming concierge will make sure you get each other's e-mail address and you can coordinate a time to hang out.

PAX Unplugged is a tabletop gaming-focused event specifically tailored to lovers of board games, RPGs, miniatures, cards, and more. Featuring thought-provoking panels, a massive expo hall filled with the best publishers and studios, new game demos, tournaments, and a community experience unlike any other.
The Knight Moves booth will be in the Expo Hall [BOOTH #U3800] and will feature several games created by independent designers. Stop by to demo a new game, purchase your favorite indie game, explore some exquisitely-made dice, or just to say hello to your favorite Knight Moves barista!

Comedy Show with Grant Lyon
Grant Lyon, a touring professional comedian from Comedy Central, Comic’s Unleashed, the SyFy Channel, and more, is also a huge board game lover! His comedy album Scheduled Fun Time hit number one on the comedy charts and has made him the featured artist of the month on multiple SiriusXM channels. He’s performed in 45 states and is recognizable from numerous national TV commercials. In addition, he makes silly review videos about good games with his series Grant’s Game Recs on TikTok and YouTube, and he’s the co-designer of the party game Curmudgeon, published by 25th Century Games. For the first time ever, Grant is putting his 17 years of standup comedy experience into a standup show all about board games. If you’re a gamer, these are jokes for you.

Players can expect a single session (also called a "one shot") where they will be able to play D&D led by an experienced and imaginative DM. Sessions will be hosted at Knight Moves Board Game Cafe in Brookline, where guests will also have the option to purchase any of the delicious snacks and beverages offered. The first 30 minutes of the session will be character creation, with the remaining time spent actually playing. End time is approximate, as the DM will work find a natural stopping point. All experience levels welcome!

Join expert dice crafter, Evan of Lady DM Dice, for a Dice-Making Masterclass! Guests will be led through the process of creating their very own set of seven polyhedral RPG dice from scratch. All materials will be provided, and guests will be able to take their set of dice home after a 24hr cure time. All experience levels welcome, and all PPE equipment will be provided. Guests will also be provided an apron, but please wear clothes you do not mind ruining, as resin will ruin any clothing it comes into contact with.
